You have chosen a high-quality device. The
device has been quality-tested and subject-
ed to a fi nal inspection during production.
This ensures proper functioning of your
device. In some cases, residual amounts
of lubricants may be present on or in the
device. This is not a fl aw or a defect and is
no cause for concern.
The instruction manual forms part of
this device. It contains important in-
formation on safety, use and disposal. Be-
fore using the device, you should familiar-
ise yourself with all operating and safety
instructions. Use the device only as de-
scribed and for the stated fi elds of applica-
tion. Store the instruction manual carefully
and ensure that all documents are handed
over in the event that the device is passed
on to another user.
Proper use
The device is designed for cutting branches
up to 28 mm thick in softwood and 15 mm
thick in hardwood.
This device is not suitable for commercial
use. The warranty is void in the case of
commercial use.
Any other use that is not expressly permit-
ted in this instruction manual may result in
damage to the device and pose a serious
hazard to the user.
The device is intended for use by persons
over 16 years of age. The use of the de-
vice in the rain or a damp environment is
prohibited. The operator or user is respon-
sible for any accidents or personal injury
and/or material damage to third parties or
their property.
