3 Installation
3.1

Installation instructions

The function of the transducer is practically independent of the orientation.
When installing, ensure that water cannot penetrate any cable capillaries present (reference air
connection).

Dimensions

The dimensions of the transducer are customer-specific and can be taken from the associated
proposal drawing.

Wiring

4.1

Electrical connection

Please note the following prior to connecting the unit:
• Transducer as DC voltage version with an analog output
• The supply voltage must match the supply voltage on the nameplate
• Determine load resistance
• Switch off the supply voltage before connecting the device
Warning!
If using the device in a hazardous area, the appropriate national standards and information in the
safety instructions (XAs) must be observed.
4.1.1 Wiring
The technical delivery information which is part of the scope of delivery is binding for the electrical
connection.
