Disposal
7.1
General information
The emptying cycles of the various system types are designed to achieve complete emptying of the system tank while at the
same time achieving the best possible cleaning for moderate degree of soiling of the wastewater.
Please note:
Operating instructions must be displayed near the separator.
The disposal process must be carried out exactly according to the instructions.
The grease separator may only be disposed of by approved disposal companies.
Subject to technical modifications!
Follow the accident prevention regulations!
Smoking is prohibited when working on the open separator due to possible formation of biogas.
Carry out the first disposal within 2-3 weeks after putting into service.
7.2
Emptying intervals:
According to DIN 4040- 2, unless specified otherwise, sludge traps and separators must be emptied, cleaned and refilled
with fresh water every fourteen days, but at least monthly.
Correct function can only be guaranteed if the system contents are disposed of in good time.
For this reason, a disposal contract should be concluded with a specialist company.
Carry out disposal (Standard version)
Remove the cover plate and cordon off to ensure traffic
safety.
Now place the suction hose from the disposal vehicle in
the tank.
Start the pumping process at the disposal vehicle.
Pump away until the outlet structure is exposed and then
stop the pumping operation. Duration depends on the
nominal size.
Clean the inside wall of the tank
Restart pumping, clean the inside walls of the tank with a
water hose.
Once the tank has been pumped empty (slurping
noises) , end the pumping off process by the disposal
vehicle.
Wait briefly, then remove the suction hose.
