Maintenance
8.1
Maintenance interval and tasks
The system must be serviced annually by a competent expert / inspector.
The following tasks must be carried out during maintenance:
Cordon off to ensure traffic safety and carry out the disposal.
Check the inside of the tank.
Cleaning of the inside of the tank (particularly the inlet and outlet spots) using a high-pressure cleaning device.
Pump out the tank again.
Use a gripper and scraper to remove objects and deposits.
Fill the separator with clean water up to the calm water level.
Record the maintenance in the log book.
Cordon off to ensure traffic safety
Take appropriate cordoning off measures to ensure that
traffic safety is maintained.
CAUTION
Transport the cover plate only if it is lashed onto
a pallet.
Only fit the cover plate if the excavations have
already been backfilled.
Only move the cover plate with suitable lifting
tools.
Wear personal protective equipment (safety hel-
met, safety footwear).
Lift out the cover plate:
Turn the cover lock to „OPEN" (LIFT UP) and use a suit-
able lifting tool to hook it into the cover plate.
Raise the lifting tool a few centimetres and pull the cover
plate off the chamber opening. Pay attention to correct
ergonomics and always keep the handle of the lifting tool
in line with the middle of your body.
