Backfill the excavations
CAUTION
Note the structural calculations for traffic safety. Chamber installation for load class D requires a load distribution
slab made of reinforced concrete or a binder layer with asphalt.
Determine the required load class and structural calculations in accordance with the environment / use condi-
tions.

page 104 and see "Installation", page 26.
Fill the pit with crushed stone (0-16 mm diameter), at least 50 cm all the way round, compacting the filling material prop-
erly every 30 cm to 97% Dpr (e.g. using a vibratory plate compactor).
At the same time, fill the tank with water so that the maximum difference between the liquid level and the level of the
backfill material is 30 cm.
The required excavation pit slope angle β must be observed all the way round.
The internal friction angle φ of the backfill material and allowable excavation slope angle β must be assigned in accor-
dance with DIN 4124.

Commissioning and functional check
Preparing commissioning
Connect water supply if necessary.
Fill separator with cold water up to the static level (level of the outlet).
Have a general inspection carried out (during initial commissioning and then every 5 years).
Give safety instruction.
File all records in the log book and document required disposal cycle.
All documents must be kept available at the system. The local supervisory authority can ask to examine the documents.
