The grease separator separates grease, oil and sludge from the wastewater. Different methods are used to empty the sep-
arated substances, depending on the system type. The available versions of the EasyClean ground Oval (Standard and
Direct) are purely mechanical system types and therefore do not require any further description of their operation.
Separators for grease should be serviced, emptied and cleaned regularly. You are reminded of the need to comply with
national or local regulations concerning waste disposal. The intervals for servicing, emptying and cleaning must be defined
taking into account the storage capacity of the grease separator and sludge trap as well as the relevant operating experi-
ence. Unless specified otherwise, sludge traps and separators should be emptied, cleaned and filled with fresh water again
once a month, or preferably every two weeks.
