Operating Instructions SATA FDG
■ Turn the pressure controller to the left to reduce the material pressure.
■ Turn the pressure controller to the right to increase the material pres-
sure.
Adjust spraying pressure (only in variant with double pressure re-
ducer)
Turn the pressure controller [3‑6] / [9‑9] for fully variable adjustment of the
spraying pressure.
■ Turn the pressure controller to the left to reduce the spraying pressure.
■ Turn the pressure controller to the right to increase the spraying pres-
sure.
10.4. Change the material
Fatal risk from non-vented material pressure tank
Opening a pressurised material pressure tank will cause an explosion.
→ Every time before opening the material pressure tank, disconnect it
from the compressed air supply and vent completely with the bleeder
valve [2‑4] / [3‑4] / [8‑6] / [9‑5].
Risk of injury from running agitator
Body parts and garments can be pulled into the machine if the machine
pressure tank is opened while the agitator is running.
→ Switch the agitator off before opening the machine pressure tank and
protect it from being switched on again.
Open material pressure tank
■ Disconnect the agitator from the power / compressed air circuit and
protect it from being switched on again.
■ Close material supply ball valve [2‑1] / [3‑1] / [4‑1] / [8‑8] / [9‑7] /[10‑4].
■ Close compressed air supply ball valve [2‑9] / [3‑9] / [8‑2] / [9‑1].
Variant with single pressure reducer
■ Close the ball valve for spray air [2‑7] / [8‑4].
Variant with second gun connection
■ Close spraying air ball valve [4‑3] / [10‑1].
■ Disconnect material pressure tank from the compressed air circuit.
■ Vent the material pressure tank completely with the bleeder valve
