Intended Use

• USB connection / use on IBM-compatible PCs from operating system Windows‚-
98 SE with USB connections and CD-ROM drive.
• The voltage supply takes place through the USB interface (from V1.1).
• Measurement of alternating and direct voltage signals up to a maximum of 35 V
eff. with a frequency of a max. of 5 MHz (20 MS/s = 20,000,000 measuring
points/second) for DSO-220 USB, or 30MHz (100MS/s) for DSO-2100 USB.
• Signal display in the spectrum analyser function (FFT)
• Trigger variations AUTO, NORM, SINGLE or external digital two-channel storage
oscilloscope which is operated/adjusted by means of the appropriate software
through a IBM-compatible computer.
• The automatic set-up function adapts the time basis and the input amplifier to the
pending measurement signal.
• Cursor lines with display of results for the amplitude or frequency measurement.
• All signal courses can be stored and read out.
• The measuring system can be used universally both at the hobby level and at the
occupational (but not industrial) or school level!
Measurement is not permitted in moist rooms or outdoors or under adverse ambient
conditions. The following are unfavourable ambient conditions:
- wetness or excessive humidity
- dust or combustible gases, vapours or solvents
- strong vibrations
- strong magnetic fields such as those found in the vicinity of machines or loud-
speakers.
- static electricity (fields and discharges).
