HSI90/HSI150
Cable entry for setting in concrete. Double-sided connec-
tion option of HSI90/HSI150 system covers, HRD press se-
als or KES90 MA/KES150 MA cable entry systems.

Cable entry for setting in concrete. Double-sided connec-
tion option of HSI150 system covers, HRD press seals or
KES150 MA cable entry systems.
• Perfom prefabricated concrete work as usual.
• The position of the additional three-ribbed seal
on the intermediate pipe can be adjusted in
the precast factory when installing the perime-
ter insulations.
• It must be ensured that the three-ribbed seals
are fully embedded in the respective concrete
layer.
• The minimum thickness of the concrete outer
shell is 50 mm.
5 Installation: For duct/conduit connection
with spacer HSI AH40
For duct/conduit connection (Ø
recommend to use the spacer HSI AH40 (acces-
sory) when installing HSI150 wall insert packages.
For planned cable conduit sections and pipes
with an outer diameter of ≥ 160 mm (connection
via HSI150 M168 (WR), KES MA150 D or
HSI150-GSM 160/X), this ensures a greater level
of compaction in the protective pipe trench and
ensures that the minimum protective pipe dis-
tance of ≥ 50 mm is clearly maintained (see fig.:
5). Duct connection via system cover
HSI90/HSI150 M... (selection depending on appli-
cation area of the sleeve).
1 Plug together the HSI150 wall inserts by means of the
HSI AH spacer to achieve the requested packaging. In
each contact surface of the assembly frame one spa-
cer has to be installed (see fig.: 6).
HSI150 and HSI90 wall inserts can be plugged to-
gether using the spacers HSI AH40 (see fig.: 7).

Single wall inserts, wall inserts with plug-in so-
ckets and double wall inserts correspond in the
delivered state to the wall thickness stated on the
order.

Prior to installation:
• The formwork spacing must be no smaller or
larger than the wall thickness "X" specified for
the wall insert when the order was placed. The
dimensions must be checked before installa-
tion (see fig.: 9).
• A gap of at least 5 cm is to be observed
between three-ribbed seals and iron reinforce-
ments. The tie wire may not be attached to
the three-ribbed seals.
1 Nail the wall insert (in example HSI150 K2) to the
wooden formwork using the nail holes (in the as-
sembly frames or on the pipe cover for the insert
sleeve for HSI150 GSM 160/X) provided for this pur-
pose.
If the formwork is made of steel, then attach the wall
insert to the reinforcement with wire
Next, close the formwork (see fig.: 10).
2 Set wall inserts in concrete. Remove the formwork
once the concrete has set.
