Replacing the mains cable

Prerequisite
– The appliance is disconnected from the mains.
– A new mains cable is available.
– A service specification plate is available.
– Torx® screwdrivers T10, T15 and T20 are
available.
– A flathead screwdriver no. 2 is available.
– A hexagon key size 5 is available.
– A pair of long-nose pliers is available.
– An ESD wristband is worn and correctly earthed.
WARNING
Danger of death from electric shock
Touching exposed current-carrying parts
can lead to severe injuries or death.
▶ Interrupt the power supply before
working on electrical components.

Remove the specification plate.

Loosen the screws (Torx® profile T15) on
the housing and remove the housing half.

Loosen the screws (Torx® profile T10) on
the printed circuit assembly.

Loosen the screws (Torx® profile T10) and
remove the strain relief.

Open the clamps holding the mains cable on
the printed circuit assembly (flathead screw-
driver no. 2).

Remove the mains cable from the clamps
(long-nose pliers).
7
Carefully place the printed circuit assembly
to one side.
