Troubleshooting

Function test before delivery

A function test must be carried out after all repair work on the Geberit welding plate prior to delivery.
1. Plug in the appliance.
2. Check the heating process (LED flashes red, plate heats up).
3. Check operational readiness (LED lights up green, plate has reached target temperature).
4. Carry out high-voltage test (safety-relevant).
5. Carry out earthing test (safety relevant).
6. Check temperature.

Measuring points and measuring equipment for the temperature test

• Temperature measuring device: e.g. Testo 926
• Sensor: e.g. fast-response surface sensor (TE type K) from Testo
Measuring point determination MP5 reference point for measurement 230 °C +/-5 °C

If the sensor was not correctly plugged into the printed circuit assembly during assembly, no signal
will be transmitted. The LED flashes alternately red/green.
