The StruersLAN networking module
The TegraDoser-5 can be equipped with a
StruersLAN module. This allows you to con-
nect your TegraSystem to your company net-
work or to a single PC.

Networking simplifies programming
The StruersLAN module is a network card,
which works according to the Ethernet stan-
dard, used worldwide in data communication.
By providing the TegraDoser-5 with the
StruersLAN module, the TegraSystem can
be connected to a single PC or directly to the
company's LAN network (Local Area Net-
work), allowing the TegraSystem to be ac-
cessed from all the connected PCs.
In both cases programming of preparation
methods is made extremely easy, because a
complete keyboard is available. Also copy and
paste functions, rename, delete, insert, - in
short - all the functions usually available on
a PC are available here too. The program is
based on the same functions as the
Windows™ Explorer.
Networking lets you share your knowledge
Do you want to share your preparation
method with a colleague, another lab in your
company or even another company? With the
TegraSystem this is possible.
All TegraSystem modules connected to the
same network can be accessed by PCs con-
nected, and preparation methods can easily
be copied directly from one machine to an-
other.
Differences in machine size and set-up are not a problem since the TegraSys-
tem automatically recalculates all preparation parameters when a method is
transferred from one system to another.
Even when the TegraSystems are not connected to the same network, prepara-
tion methods can be exchanged. Simply export the preparation method, send
it attached to an e-mail and import it into another TegraSystem without any
problems.
Networking improves standardisation and efficiency
The networking possibilities greatly improve visibility and efficiency. Prepara-
tion methods can easily be made accessible on all the TegraSystems in the lab.
Redundant work performed in different labs within the company can be elimi-
nated. A central lab can standardise company methods and easily transfer them
to TegraSystems in all satellite labs, ensuring consistent settings throughout
the organisation. As soon as a method is approved, it can be transferred and
made accessible instantly. Even specimen preparation performed at sub-sup-
pliers can be standardised. The possibilities are numerous as required to match
the different needs in modern companies.
