Risks When Carrying and Using this Product on the Ergometer
• Danger of falling: Road bike shoes with cleats offer little grip, especially on slippery surfaces. Be careful when
getting on and off the ergometer and when walking. Only walk very short distances with the racing bike shoes.
• Only use road bike shoes that are the right size and fitted tightly and securely.
• Assemble the cleats according to the instructions. Tighten all screws sufficiently.
• Ensure that the cleats are fitted to the shoes to properly fit the individual user. Incorrect settings can lead to poor
posture and pain or even permanent damage.
• Check that the connections are tight and that all parts are in perfect condition before and during each use. Fix any
issues immediately.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

FIXING THE CLEATS
Step 1: Mark the Ball of the Foot
• Have a piece of low-tack tape and a pen ready. Sit in a chair.
• Put on both road bike shoes.
• Feel the position of the ball of your foot on the outside of your right
shoe. Stick the piece of tape there. Mark the back of the ball of your
foot on the tape.
• Repeat this step for the left shoe. Take your shoes off again.
Step 2: Screw on the Cleats
• Place the cleat on the sole of the shoe as shown in the picture.
• Place the square washers ('W') into the slotted holes in the cleat.
• Insert the bolts through the washers and cleat into the actual sole of
the shoe. Tighten them with the Allen key ('Hex').
• Repeat these steps for the other shoe.
