5.3 How to use Pekalux POWER LED
5.3.1 Start and Usage
• By combining the battery, the display window will be on, that shows the instrument is available to be used then.
• Select a desired mode using mode set key, and set a desired irradiation time using time set key.
• Pushing start key, rays of light will be irradiated according to the selected mode and time, and during its opera-
tion, the irradiation will be stopped by pushing finish key.
• If it is not used some minutes, (about 5 minutes) it will be diverted its mode to sleep-mode automatically, there-
fore its battery discharge will be minimized with this standby mode.
• With pushing start key in sleep mode, it will be turned to previous mode.
5.3.2 Mode Description of Pekalux POWER LED
 Middle power Mode
1. Optical output – Over 1800 mW/cm
2. Available time setting – 5, 10, 20, 30 seconds
 High power Mode
1. Optical output – Over 3000 mW/cm
2. Available time setting – 5, 10, 15, 20 seconds
 Soft Start Mode
1. Optical output – After gradually increasing from
0 to 1800 mW/cm (+/- 10 %) and be maintained

until finish time
2. Available time setting – 10, 15, 20 seconds
 Flickering Mode
1. Optical output – 1800 mW/cm
it 10 times at intervals of 1 second.
2. Available time setting – 20, 40, 60, 80 seconds
