5 SERVICE AND WARRANTY

5.1 Bicycle service

To ensure safe and pleasant use and a long service life for your bicycle, it is extremely
important that your bicycle is serviced regularly. You can find details about the diffe-
rent recommended services below:
Initial service
It is extremely important to carry out an initial service on the bicycle after 100-150
km of use. In this time, the components of the bicycle, such as the brakes, gears and
spokes have had a chance to break in, and the optimisation of their adjustments is
topical. This ensures the optimal function of the bicycle, and it increases the service
life of the consumable parts, because, e.g. The wear of the chainset, sprockets and
brakes is even after the initial service.
NOTE
If the initial service is not completed within the first 250 km, this will lead to
the warranty being voided. Therefore, have your bicycle serviced no later
than at this time, to ensure its functionality and the durability of its
components.
Seasonal service
Seasonal service is worth being carried out on the bicycle at least once, but preferab-
ly twice, per year. These services should be scheduled, e.g. to the autumn and spring

Other maintenance procedures
In addition to these services, the rider should personally take care of the bicycle's
cleanliness, condition and lubrication of the chainset and sprockets as well as the
tensioning of other components. The tensioning of some components may loosen
over time, so they should be inspected regularly.
