4. Tighten the bolts when you have completed the adjustments.
5. If the brake disc constantly rubs against the brake pads, or the gap is too wide,
you can adjust the gap of the brake pads by first loosening the tensioning bolt of the
brake cable. Then, increase the gap by loosening the cable slightly or decrease the
gap by tightening the cable. Finally, tighten the bolt again.
NOTE
Before adjusting the brakes, ensure that the brake cables are proper-
ly attached to the brake levers. If the brake disc is distorted or damaged,
replace it first.

Shifting lever operation (Does not apply to Flow and Agile models)
Your bicycle is equipped with a reliable FitNord MotionShift shifting lever. The opera-
ting principle of the lever is as follows:
Shifting to a larger gear: Shifting to a larger gear takes place by pushing the upper
shift lever. Once pushed, the lever will click, and the lever will release the shift cable
and release the rear derailleur to a larger gear.
Shifting to a smaller gear: Shifting to a smaller gear takes place by pushing the lower
shift lever. One push allows you to shift up to three gears at a time. Each of these
shifts makes a click at which point the lever tightens the shift cable by moving the
rear derailleur to a smaller gear.
Adjusting the derailleur (Does not apply to Flow and Agile models)
The shifting system of your bicycle has been adjusted in connection with assembly.
Occasionally, vibration during transportation, temperature fluctuations and other
factors may, however, affect the shifting system and cause it to rub or problems
with shifting gears after deployment.
In such situations, you can adjust the shifting system by observing the following
instructions:
