2.1 General safety instructions

Always wear a helmet when riding the bicycle. In poor light conditions, use a
light when riding.
Do not place any items on the battery or motor. Do not alter the bicycle's drive
or electric system in any way.
Always use shoes that stay on your feet and provide sufficient grip on the
pedals.
Familiarise yourself thoroughly with your bicycle's control devices before riding.
Avoid loose or draping clothes, straps, etc., which may tangle up in the bicycle's
moving parts while riding.
Do not jump with the bicycle. Jumping with the bicycle causes significant stress
to several components, such as the spokes and pedals. One of the components
that is most susceptible to damage caused by jumping is the front fork. Cyclists
who carry out jumps on their bicycles cause a major risk of damage to the bicy-
cle and risk of injury to themselves.
Maintain a riding speed that is suitable for relevant conditions. Always remem-
ber that as the speed increases the handling of the bicycle weakens and the
stress applied to the components increases.
Always observe traffic rules.
Never ride the bicycle under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating
medication.
Remember that the braking distance on, e.g. ice, gravel and wet surfaces, is
longer than usual. Always check the brakes' function before riding.

2.2 Battery and charger use

Do not leave the battery charging without supervision
Keep the battery and charger away from water and heat sources.
While charging, place the charger and battery on a hard surface and away from-
heat-sensitive materials.
Do not use the charger if its cable or other component is damaged.
Do not overcharge the battery, disconnect the charger once the battery is fully
charged.
