The pedal with the R marking is attached to the crank arm by tensioning clockwise.
The pedal with the L marking is attached to the crank arm by tensioning anti-clockwi-
se. The sufficient tension of the pedals' attachment is important to ensure their relia-
bility. Check the tension of the pedals regularly.
Tension the attachment of the crank arms too, if possible. The correct torque for
attaching the crank arm on bicycles equipped with a central motor and a momentum
sensor is 30-35 Nm. If the tension is exceeded, this can damage the momentum sen-
sor, so if you are uncertain, tighten the crank arm to no more than a manual tension
and let it be completed during the initial service. The crank arms have been tensioned
at the factory in connection with installation, but sometimes the vibration caused
during transport can loosen them.
In case of models equipped with rotation sensors, the crank arm can be fully tension-
ed. The crank arms are tensioned to their correct torque no later than in connection
with the initial service, so at the time of deployment, it is mainly important to check
that the crank arms do not detach during the 100 - 150 kilometres before the initial
service.

3.4 Saddle

To ensure that riding is pleasant, safe and causes as little stress as possible, the
height of the saddle and handlebar must be adjusted according to the height of the
rider. The saddle is at the correct height if the rider's leg is almost fully extended while
sitting on the saddle when the foot is evenly on the pedal while the crank arm is in its
lowest position. However, the knee must not be locked in its extreme position.
The height of the saddle is adjusted by adjusting the tension of the adjustment ring,
which can be found at the connection point of the seat post and the frame. De-
pending on the model of your bicycle, the adjustment ring is adjusted with either a
quick-release latch or an Allen key.
Before use, always ensure that the adjustment ring has
been tensioned in such a way that the saddle will not
lower while riding from the desired height. The highest
possible height of the saddle has been marked on the
seat post. The angle and forward-backwards distance
of the actual saddle in relation to the handlebar can be
adjusted from under the saddle. Remember to tension
the connection whenever you have adjusted them.
