Energy-saving tips
• Only switch on the fan when needed; oth-
erwise, energy will be wasted.
– Let the fan run as long as cooking fumes
or steam are present.
– The fan is not needed when cooking for
a short time or warming up foods that
have little or no odour.
• Ensure that there is enough supply air;
otherwise, the exhaust hood may not
function optimally. If necessary, open the
window or kitchen door.
• Clean the grease filters (8) regularly.
