Requirements

– You have read the chapter entitled „Safety"
on page EN-3.
– The exhaust hood is assembled as descri-
bed in chapter „Assembly" on page EN-12.

Activated charcoal filter

• When using the appliance for air circula-
tion, only do so with activated charcoal
filters inserted.
• If neighbours complain about odours, it
may be a good idea to insert activated
charcoal filters for exhaust air operation,
too.
• For the source of supply, please see chap-
ter „Service Centre" on page EN-20.
• To insert see „Installing/replacing the acti-
vated charcoal filter (only for circulation air
operation)" on page EN-18.

Switching device on/off

To switch the appliance
– on, press the
button (26) once.
The button lights up and the fan works at
the lowest level.
– off, press the
button (26) again.
The button light goes off and the device
switches to standby mode.

Fan

The blower of your exhaust hood has three
fan speeds.
– Select a speed:
Press the
(22) (slow),
or
(24) (fast) button.
The selected button lights up and the fan
works at the required level.
– Switching off the fan:
Press the current fan speed button again

Control light

Your exhaust hood is equipped with four LED
lights. The lighting can be switched on or off
independently of the fans.
To switch the lighting
– on, press the
button (25).
– off, press the
button (25) again.

Energy saving tips

– Only switch on the fan when needed; other-
wise, energy will be wasted.
– Let the fan run as long as cooking fumes
or steam are present.
– The fan is not needed when cooking only
briefly or warming up foods that have litt-
le or no odour.
– Ensure that there is enough supply air;
otherwise, the exhaust hood may not func-
tion optimally. If necessary, open the win-
dow or kitchen door.
– Clean the grease filters (17) regularly.
