Replacing the grease filter

The grease filters must be replaced periodically.
Metal grease filters
The metal grease filters can be cleaned by hand. Immerse the filters for around 3 minutes in water with
a mild detergent and then clean them carefully with a soft brush. Do not press too vigorously to avoid
damaging the filters and allow them dry out naturally, away from direct sunlight.
WARNING: The filters must be washed separately from tableware and kitchen utensils.
For optimal results, do not use rinse aid.
Charcoal filter (optional)
A - Conventional filter
Cannot be washed or regenerated. The charcoal filters must be replaced regularly, at least once every
3 months or sooner, depending on cooking habits.
B - Washable and regenerable charcoal filter
Must be washed in a dishwasher once a month, using a normal rinse aid and with an intensive rinse
program (at the highest available temperature). Washable and regenerable charcoal filters absorb
kitchen odours for a maximum of 3 years if cleaned monthly. After this period, the filter must be replaced
with a new item.
WARNING: Washable and regenerable activated charcoal filters must be washed
separately to avoid the accumulation of food residues, which can cause unpleasant
odours. After washing, the washable and regenerable charcoal filter must be reactivated.
This operation is performed by drying the clean filter in an oven for 10 minutes at 100 °C.
WARNING: The washable / regenerable nature of your charcoal filter is stated on the
pack. If no information is given on the pack, this means it contains a conventional non-
washable charcoal filter.
