5.2.7 Air exhaust duct
The air exhaust duct is not supplied with the hood.

Strictly comply with the following rules to achieve optimal air extraction performance:
- Keep the exhaust duct as short and straight as possible.
- Do not reduce the cross section or obstruct the exhaust duct.
- When using an exhaust duct, keep flexible ducting taut in order to minimise the pressure drop.
- Do not connect the hood ducting system to any form of existing ventilation system used for any other
appliances, such as a heating duct, gas duct, hot air duct.
- The exhaust duct angle must be no less than 120°: arrange the duct horizontally or, alternatively, the
duct can ascend from the starting point and be routed to an exterior wall.
- After installation, make sure the hood is perfectly horizontal to avoid the build-up of grease at the
end of the exhaust duct.
- Make sure the exhaust duct used for the installation complies with the relevant regulations and is
fireproof.
WARNING: Failure to comply with these basic instructions reduces the performance of
the hood and increases its noise level.
WARNING: Installation, electrical connection and duct connections of the hood must be
carried out by a qualified technician in compliance with the manufacturer's instructions
and the regulations in force.
CAUTION: Omitted installation of the screws or fixing devices as described in these
instructions can result in electrical hazards.
