WARNING: When the hood is operating in extraction mode, the room air will be drawn in
by the hood. Make sure the kitchen is adequately ventilated. The hood eliminates odours
from the room but it does not remove water vapour.
WARNING: When the hood is used at the same time as appliances running on gas or
other fuels, ensure the room is adequately ventilated.
WARNING: Any bends in the hood extraction duct must be no more than 90 degrees,
otherwise extraction efficiency will be impaired.
WARNING: Once you have removed the hood from the pack, check that is in perfect
condition. If the product shows signs of damage, do not use it and instead contact the
RESPEKTA service network.
WARNING: Comply with the regulations in force concerning discharge of air.
WARNING: When the cooker hood and appliances powered by energy other than
electricity are operating simultaneously, the negative pressure in the room must not
exceed 4 Pa (4 x 10-5 bar).
WARNING: Clean the exterior of the appliance only when it is switched off.
WARNING: The appliance and its filters must be cleaned regularly to ensure correct
operation. Refer to the "Maintenance" chapter.
WARNING: Keep the room well ventilated when using the appliance with a gas hob.
WARNING: The appliance air exhaust duct must be routed to the outside of the building
in a separate passage; do not exhaust the air through other ducts or flues.
WARNING: Before installing and using the appliance, make sure the voltage (V) and
frequency (Hz) shown on the hood are identical to the voltage (V) and frequency (Hz) of
the mains supply in your home.
