3.3.4 FOLDING FRAME (DPI)
Opening the frame (Operating position)
- Remove the safety pin (1 fig. 19)
- Release the safety device using the cord (2)
- Activate the oil-pressure system, bringing the side frames
into their operating position
- Block in place using the pins (3 fig. 20)
Closing the frame (Transport position)
- Unhook the pins (3)
- Activate the oil-pressure system, bringing the side frames into
their transport position
- Make sure the safety device is hooked in place
- Fasten the safety pins (1)

3.3.5 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

ATTENTION
Safety measures concerning the hydraulic control:
1) When the hydraulic pipes are connected to the hydraulic
system of the tractor, make sure that the hydraulic
systems of the operating machine and the tractor are
not under pressure.
2) For hydraulic-type functional connections between the
tractor and operating machine, sockets and plugs must
be marked with colors, in order to prevent erroneous
use. It could be dangerous if an exchange should occur.
3) The hydraulic system is under high pressure; because
of accident hazards, when leaking points are looked
for, suitable auxiliary instruments should be used.
System regulation
The hydraulic systems provided come equipped with one-way flow
regulators (Fig. 21) which allow for the regulation of the quantity
of oil during opening or closing, depending on how the regulators
have been installed:
Flow from A to B, free;
Flow from B to A, choked (regulated).
To regulate, loosen the lock nut (1) and turn the knob (2). Once
this adjustment has been made, re-tighten the lock nut.
Make sure that the result of this adjustment does not cau-
se the rising or descent speed to damage the structure
itself. Never exceed the indicated hydraulic system
pressure levels.
3.3.6 SEED LEVEL ELECTRONIC CONTROL (OPTIONAL)
The level of seed in the hopper can be easily controlled by the
operator from the driver' s seat by checking the indicator (fig. 22).
