Replacing the batteries

Prerequisite
– Refer to figure sequence
while carrying out the instructions.
– 2 replacement batteries (alkaline
batteries, 1.5 V, AA) are available.

Demount the urinal flush control. →
See figure sequence

Disconnect the battery compartment
cable. → See figure sequence
page 273.

Remove the battery compartment.

Open the cover, remove the
batteries and dispose of them.

Insert the replacement batteries.

Insert the battery compartment.

Plug in the battery compartment
cable. → See figure sequence
page 273.

Mount the urinal flush control. →
See figure sequence
Result
✓ The urinal is ready for operation.
Charging the rechargeable
battery of the self-sustaining
power supply
If Geberit urinals with generator operation
are not used very often, the rechargeable
battery will not charge sufficiently. If a
signal tone sounds when you enter the
detection range, this indicates that the
rechargeable battery is almost empty. →
