User qualifications

Without suitable training, users cannot detect or
may incorrectly estimate the hazards presented
by Geberit electrofusion tools. They are therefore
at risk of seriously injuring themselves or others.
• Only skilled persons qualified in pipe install-
ations are permitted to use Geberit electrofusion
tools.
• Users must be conversant with – and adhere to
– country-specific safety regulations.
• Users working with a Geberit electrofusion tool
for the first time must have been instructed by
an expert or have attended a specialist course
on how to handle it safely.
• This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
