12 Maintenance

Maintenance work may only be carried out by specialist personnel. A maintenance plan is to be
prepared and a maintenance report must be kept.
It is recommended to check the electrical equipment of the MVE1 and MVE2 at least every 1.5 years
(DIN EN 50110-1 (VDE 0105-1)). See also: '4.17 Inspection of electrical equipment, repeat inspection'
To read off the next upcoming maintenance date for the hydraulics, the menu item Maintenance in
the service menu can be used. This is to be an aid for the operator. Here, the next maintenance date
is stored (in brackets). If the system clock is set correctly, the operator will be informed via a message
when the scheduled date is reached.
Optionally, the operator can specify beforehand whether the collective error message should be
triggered for this as well.
Even with this triggered collective error message, the replenishment continues to remain functional.
If a system separator is installed, there is an annual maintenance obligation (DIN EN 1717).
Initial maintenance must be carried out after the first year of operation and every subsequent year of
operation after commissioning. The maintenance instructions of the system separator apply here.
'Maintenance carried out' is to be confirmed by specialist personnel only. Thereafter, the control unit
determines the next maintenance date automatically.
The upstream dirt trap provided by the customer is to be cleaned at least annually. (This must have a
mesh width less than or equal to 0.2 mm.)
All residual components are maintenance-free.
The maintenance interval can be changed. [0...800 days] 0 days deactivates the maintenance
reminder. The default setting is 365 days. See menu: Parameter menu -> Miscellaneous ->
