Only use saw blades that match the specifications

given in this operating manual and that are tested and
marked in accordance with EN 847-1
When changing the saw blade, make sure that the cutting
width is no smaller and the base blade thickness is no larger
than the thickness of the riving knife.
Removing the Saw Blade
– Bring the power tool into the mitre saw work position.
– Unscrew the locking screw (10) using the slotted
screwdriver (5) provided.
– Pull the bracket (11) to the right. Now, slide the bracket
upwards while swivelling the retracting blade guard (20)
back as far as it will go to the rear. This is to ensure that
the retracting blade guard is locked in the upper open po-
sition.
– Turn the hex socket screw (12) using the hex key (5)
provided while pressing the spindle lock (13) until it en-
gages.
– Press and hold the spindle lock (13) and loosen the
screw (12) by turning it clockwise (left-hand thread).
– Remove the clamping flange (14).
– Remove the saw blade (7).
Fitting the Saw Blade
If required, clean all the parts you want to fit before installing
them.
– Place the new saw blade on the inner clamping
flange (15).
When fitting the saw blade, make sure that the cutting

direction of the teeth (direction of the arrow on the
saw blade) matches the direction of the arrow on the
housing!
– Place on the clamping flange (14) and the screw (12).
Press the spindle lock (13) until it engages and tighten
the screw by turning it anticlockwise.
– Slide the bracket (11) downwards while swivelling the re-
tracting blade guard (20) back down until the bracket
locks in place.
– Reattach the locking screw (10) and tighten it.
Transport (see figure g)
Pull the plug out of the socket before carrying out any
u
work on the power tool.
– Bring the power tool into the table saw work position.
– Position the parallel guide (61) completely under the pro-
tective guard (63).
To secure the parallel guide, push the clamping handle
(64) down.
– Fix the push stick to the pins (67).
– Insert the lower saw blade cover (66) into the saw
table (22).
– Remove all accessories that cannot be securely fitted to
the power tool.
If possible, transport unused saw blades in an enclosed
container.

– To lift or transport the power tool, hold it by the recessed
handles (4) on either side of the saw table (22).
Only use the transport devices to transport the power
u
tool and never the protective devices.
Operation as Mitre Saw
Pull the plug out of the socket before carrying out any
u
work on the power tool.
Work Position (see figure 
If the power tool is as delivered, or the power tool was used
as a table saw, you must complete the following steps before
using it as a mitre saw:
– Loosen both clamping levers  (68) under the saw
table (59).
– Pull the saw table upwards as far as it will go.
– Hold the saw table in this position and retighten the
clamping lever.
– Position the parallel guide (61) as protection over the
saw blade.
– Press the tool arm down slightly by the handle (18) to re-
lease the transport safety lock (38).
– Pull the transport safety lock (38) all the way out.
– Remove the lower saw blade cover (66) and push it into
the groove on the right-hand side of the parallel
guide (61).
Do not throw away the lower saw blade cover! It is not
u
possible to operate the combination saw as a table saw
without the lower saw blade cover attached!
– Slowly guide the tool arm upwards.
– Loosen the locking screw (44).
– Push the adjustable fence (31) fully in.
– Retighten the locking screw (44).

Work Preparation

Extending the Saw Table (see figure 
The free end of long workpieces must have something
placed underneath it or be supported.
– Loosen both hex socket screws (41) using the hex key
(5) provided.
– Pull the saw table extension (29) out as far as it will go
and tighten the hex socket screw again.
Clamping the Workpiece (see figure 
To ensure maximum safety while working, the workpiece
must always be firmly clamped.
Do not saw workpieces that are too small to clamp firmly.
– Press the workpiece firmly against the fence (30).
– Insert the supplied screw clamp (21) into one of the cor-
responding holes (28).
– Loosen the wing bolt (43) and adjust the screw clamp to
the workpiece. Tighten the wing bolt again.
