Troubleshooting

If your appliance does not function, is damaged or requires a spare part, please contact our
customer service. For your own safety, do not make any repairs yourself.
The following table contains tips on how to deal with minor problems yourself:

Check that the power plug is inserted properly in the wall
socket.
• Is the dust collector full?
Empty the dust collector.
• Is the dust fi lter heavily soiled?
Clean the fi lter and leave to dry for 24 hours.
• Is the dust fi lter damaged or can it no longer be cleaned
properly?
Replace with a new one (available from our customer
service).
• Is the suction opening or nozzle blocked?
Unplug and remove the blockage.
• Is the dust collector full?
Empty the dust collector.
• Has the dust fi lter not been inserted properly?
Press the dust fi lter fi rmly into the dust collector so it
fi ts closely all round the wall of the housing.
When the appliance is used for the fi rst time, it is normal
for it to smell new: this will disappear over time.
