10.3 Switching on and off

WARNING
Moving chain or blades. Risk of severe cuts!
Moving chain or blades can cut and cut off body parts.
Hold until chain or blade has come to a standstill.
Remove battery before approaching.
1. Remove the protective cover from the bar or sword.
2. Push the release button (16) fully forward and then press the on/off switch (17).
Release the release button after switching on.
3. To switch off, release the on/off switch.
Be sure to stop the device and remove the battery:
– before you remove blockages
– before you make adjustments
– before you leave the power tool
– before you check the device for damage
