9.6 Mount and adjust pruner

9.6.1 Mount the saw chain

Note: Mounting the saw chain is only necessary if the chain saw head (A.5) is delivered disassembled.
1. Unscrew the chain tensioner (16) counterclockwise.
2. Remove the sprocket cover (14).
3. Place the saw chain (A.3) in the groove of the bar (A.2) so that the alignment of the chain links corresponds to the
direction of rotation symbol printed on the device.
4. Place the bar (A.2) on the chain saw head.
5. Place the chain around the chain sprocket (A.8).
6. Put on the sprocket cover, pull the bar forwards and screw the chain tensioner clockwise until the chain sprocket
cover is completely in contact with the bar.

9.6.2 Mount chain saw head
1. Place the protective cover (A.1) on the sword (A.2).
2. Plug the chain saw head (A.5) into the receptacle on the telescopic tube (6).
3. Tighten the screw sleeve (12) clockwise.
