7 Safety instructions

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information. If you do not follow
the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any
resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
CAUTION
Long periods of time in the immediate vicinity of the running power tool can lead to hearing damage.
– Wear hearing protection.
– A certain amount of noise from this device cannot be avoided. Postpone noisy work to approved and specified
times. If necessary, keep to rest periods and limit the working time to the bare minimum.
WARNING
This power tool generates an electromagnetic field during operation. This field can, under certain circumstances,
affect active or passive medical implants.
– To reduce the risk of serious injury or death, we recommend people with medical implants to consult their
doctor and the manufacturer of the medical implant before operating the machine.

7.1 General information

The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become dangerous playing material for
children.
If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our technical support
service or other technical personnel.
Maintenance, modifications and repairs must only be completed by a technician or an authorised repair centre.
It is strictly forbidden to dismantle or modify the protective devices on the machine or to alienate them from the
intended purpose or to attach third-party protective devices.
