1. Function

The flow meter is used for smoothly measuring liquid
volumes where gauging metering is not required.
The measurement recording of this flow meter will be
effected fluidically based on the principles of a turbine
wheel flow meter. The measured values are transmitted
without sealing and contact, electronically processed and
indicated on the display.
The flow meter has a two-line display, which is switched
on automatically at operation or by key press. The upper
line shows the partial quantity and the bottom line shows
the partial flow volume or total flow volume.
The streaming liquid is registered both as partial quantity
as well as partial flow volume and total flow volume.
The partial quantity is the result of the current registered
quantity and can be reset to 0.00 by pressing the key
"Reset". The partial quantity is shown in the upper line
of the display.

The partial flow volume is composed of several partial
quantities. The respective partial quantities are allocated
to the partial flow volume memory (Sum  to 9) e.g. user-
or vehicle-orientated. The registered partial quantity is
added to the current shown partial flow volume.
The total flow volume (Total) is the result of all totalled
partial quantities. If the total flow volume is displayed
before starting the filling process, the partial quantity
is added to the sum memory 9. In this case the display
changes from Total to Sum 9.

Due to the calibration fixed by the manufacturer the
sum memory Total and Sum 9 already comprise values
when supplied.
The sum memory device is not cleared during battery
change.
