1. Proper use
The drum pump Lutz B2 AdBlue is a sealless, vertical
centrifugal pump (see table 1, page 22).
The mains-powered motors have double insulation and
are splash proof (IP 24) (see table 2, page 22).
The pump Lutz B2 AdBlue is used for refueling of
AdBlue only. AdBlue is a non-toxic, clear, synthetically
manufactured solution and is used as reduction agent for
SCR-systems of diesel fuel driven vehicles.
Improper use or any changes can lead to serious risks.
The operator is responsible for any damages resulting
from improper use.
Caution!
Special risks for mankind and environment are
unknown when handling AdBlue.
The safety data sheet however must be
observed!
Caution!
AdBlue may create powdery residues. Thus it
may occur that seal- and coupling systems are
put out of operation.
Keep the containers closed and make sure that
connecting lines are sealed.
Caution!
AdBlue cannot be pumped at low temperatures.
The filling system may only be operated at
temperatures between -0°C and 30°C.
Caution!
When taking out AdBlue the container may
shrink due to a vacuum.
Use an appropriate ventilation system.
Caution!
Climatic influences and UV-rays may shorten life
of the refueling system.
Do not store the filling system outdoor over a
longer period.
