4.3 Connecting the pulse oximetry sensor

The pulse oximetry sensor and the SpO
accessories and must be ordered separately.
1. Using the SpO
sensor up to the SpO
Risk of injury if the sensor is fitted too tightly
An incorrectly fitted pulse oximetry sensor can occlude the blood
supply.
⇒ Place the finger mark on the pulse oximetry sensor with the
finger facing upwards.
⇒ Select the correct size of sensor.
⇒ Observe the instructions for use of the pulse oximetry sensor.
2. Place pulse oximetry sensor on one finger. Note: The sensor
must be comfortably positioned and must not exert pressure
on the finger.
