Battery discharged
Grip jaws (D) dirty
Grip jaws (D) worn
Grip mechanism loose
Tool does not operate when trigger button is
pressed (red indicator light)
Wrong grip mechanism

No spent pin disposal

Cause
Grip jaw housing (C) dirty
Spent pin container full
Passageway blocked
Pin jammed in grip mechanism

Red lamp indicates fault

When pressing the trigger
Cause
Lockbolt setting tool not in front end position
During pulling operation
Cause
Overload
Electronics overheated
Battery discharged
Corrective measures
Charge battery; replace if necessary
Clean grip jaws (D) and grease sliding sur-
faces (Point 2.8.1)
Change grip jaws (D)
Tighten (Point 2.7.2)

Detach and empty
Remove jammed pins and check for trou-
