b) Inserting or Changing the Remote Control Batteries.

Before you can use the remote control, you need to insert the batteries.
Proceed as follows:
• First remove the battery lid of the remote control For this, push the lid on the rear downwards.
• Insert two AAA batteries into the battery compartment. Ensure that the polarity is correct (plus/+ and
minus/-). The orientation in which you need to insert your batteries is displayed in the battery compart-
ment.
• Now push the lid back onto the remote control until it latches.
• The batteries are now inserted.
If you want to replace the batteries later, proceed as for insertion, but remove the old batteries
before inserting the new ones.

9. Initial setup

At first activation of the device, or if you had disconnected it from the mains completely, "Renk-
force" will appear in the display after connection to the supply voltage. The starting process
takes a few seconds. The status is displayed by a charging bar.
If you want to change the following configuration later, you can find them in the menu item "Con-
figuration". The individual subitems are "Language" and "Network".
First, a menu window for the language setting is displayed after the first start.
• Select your desired language with the buttons C9 (up) and C10 (down) on the remote control or with the
dial switch A8 at the device.
• Confirm with the button C13 or A8.
Next, you will see the query of whether you want to check the wireless connection at each activation.
• Choose "YES" or "NO" with the C11 (left) or C12 (right) button with A7 and A9.
• Confirm with the button C13 or A8 again.
In the next display, you can set up the network connection. Here, you can choose between "NO",
"Yes(WPS)" and "YES". Make your selection again with the buttons C11 (left) or C12 (right) or A7 or A9 and
confirm with C13 or A8.
• Select "NO" if you want to set up the network connection later.
• Select "Yes(WPS)" if you want to use wireless and set up the connection with the help of WPS.
Once you have confirmed, start WPS on your router or access point as well. You have 120 seconds for
this.
The connection is then established automatically and the radio switches to the main menu.
