f) USB playback
The product supports playback of music saved on a USB data carrier. The data carriers and formats that are
supported are listed in the chapter Technical Data. The connection is explained in chapter 8 a).
Switch to "USB":
• To switch to operating mode "USB", scroll through the main menu to the left or right with one of the two
arrow buttons C11 and C12 or A7 and A9, until "Media Center" is shown in the middle of the display. Then
push the button C13 or A8 to open the function. "USB" is shown at the very top of the list. Simply push the
button C13 or A8 again to select "USB".
• Alternatively, you can push the button "MODE" C7 or A10 until the operating mode "USB" is displayed.
Music Playback Using a USB Device:
• After you have opened the function, the name of the USB data carrier is usually displayed. To open it,
push the button C13 or A8.
• Now the contents of the USB device are displayed. The folders and groupings displayed depend on what
you have saved on the data carrier. Navigate through the structure and start playback of the desired title.
This is done with the button C13 or A8. If the title is saved in a folder, open it with the button C13 or A8 as
well.
• Here, you are now able to influence playback with the buttons C16 to C19 on the remote control.
Use the C16 button to switch back one track.
Use the C19 button to switch to the next track.
Use the C18 button to pause and start playback again.
• To stop playback, push the button C17, C13 or A8.
Leaving the operating mode "USB":
• To leave the mode again, push the C6/A6 button to switch to the main menu.
• Alternatively you can use the button "MODE" C7/A10 to simply switch to another operating mode or go
back in the menu with the arrow button to the right C11/A7 until the main menu is displayed.
