CYLINDER COUPLINGS

There are three different types of couplings on the regulator unit for coupling with
cylinder. These three are described below. When mounting the regulator unit in the
cylinder, follow the description for the particular configuration you have on your
equipment.
CYLINDER COUPLING WITH HAND WHEEL [FIG. 2]
Connect
Check the sealing o-ring [Fig. 32]. Screw the cylinder valve by hand into the manifold.
Disconnect
Unscrew the regulator unit from the cylinder valve.
CYLINDER QUICK COUPLING [FIG. 8]
Connect
Check the sealing o-ring [Fig. 26]. Connect the cylinder valve adapter to the regulator
unit cylinder connection. Press together until the regulator unit "clicks" firmly with the
cylinder valve. [Fig. 8]. Check that the quick release has locked properly by ensuring
that the surfaces are in level with each other. [Fig. 9].
Disconnect
Disconnect by pushing the quick coupling ring away from the cylinder valve [Fig. 10]
and lifting the cylinder away.
CYLINDER QUICK COUPLING WITH LOCK KNOB [FIG. 18]
Connect
Check the sealing o-ring [Fig. 26]. Connect the cylinder valve adapter to the regulator
unit cylinder connection. Press together until the regulator unit "clicks" firmly with the
cylinder valve. [Fig.8]. Check that the quick release has locked properly by ensuring
that the surfaces are level with each other. [Fig. 28]
Disconnect
Turn the locking knob clockwise to the stop, then push it down. At the same time, lift
the cylinder upwards. [Fig. 19].
