BATTERY (NOT SUPPLIED)
If you are using high consumption options (windlass, depth sounder...), we
recommend, for your comfort, the use of a second utility battery. A load
distributor allows to recharge the batteries when the engine is running. The
load distributor is often built-in to the engine. If not, you can add the
distributor, based on the diagram below. Please seek advice from Z Marine

Alternator
When the engine is running, it recharges battery 1.
NOTE:
Once it is charged, the distributor allows to automatically recharge
the battery which supplies the accessories.
For the twin engine configuration, an optional kit can be provided with a
system featuring two battery couplers. The battery couplers allow the
engines to be started either with one battery per engine, by coupling the
batteries (in parallel), or with a single battery.
Comply with ZODIAC's recommendations and with the recommendations of the battery
manufacturer for standard maintenance.
Maintain your battery:
 Keep the battery clean and dry in order to avoid premature wear.
 Tighten and maintain the terminal lugs by greasing them regularly with
Vaseline.
