The cooking area will return to the original setting after 5 minutes.

If the original power setting is 0, it will return to 9 after 5 minutes.

Buttons lock
You can lock the buttons to avoid any unintentional use (e.g. children accidentally turning

on the cooking areas).
When the lock is active, all buttons will be disabled, except the On/off button, so you can
-
turn off the hob with this button in case of emergency, but you should unlock all buttons
when you turn on the hob again.
How to lock the buttons
Press the lock button, the timer indicator will show 'Lo'.
How to unlock the buttons
Hold down the lock button to unlock the buttons.
Timer
You can set the timer in two different manners:
You can use it as an external timer. In such case, when the timer finishes, none of the
-
cooking areas will turn off.
You can set it so one or some cooking areas turn off once the time expires.

The maximum time is 99 minutes.
Use of the timer as an external timer

Make sure the hob is on. Note: to use the timer, there must be at least an active cooking

area.
Press the timer button, the timer indicator will start flashing and the timer display will

show 10.
Set the time by using the - or + buttons of the timer.

Press the - or + buttons at once to cancel the timer and the time display will show 00.

After setting the timer, the countdown will start automatically. The display will show the
5
remaining time and the timer indicator will flash for 5 seconds.
When the countdown ends, it will beep for 30 seconds and the timer indicator will show - -.

Setting the timer:
Press the + or - buttons on the timer once to increase or decrease the time in 1-minute
-
intervals.
Hold down the + or - buttons of the timer to increase or decrease the time in 10-minute
-
intervals.
