1. Insert the turntable drive (5) into the re-
cess in the middle.
2. Place the rotating bezel (6) and the
turntable (2) on the base of the cooking
chamber. Turn the turntable (2) so that
the center slots into the turntable drive.
3. Always place the cooking containers on
the turntable (2). This prevents liquid from
seeping into the appliance if it should boil
over.

Connection

• Check whether the appliance's supply volt-
age is compatible with the supply voltage
used in your house (please see the type
plate).
• Please ensure you only connect the ap-
pliance to a professionally installed pro-
tective contact socket with sufficient fuse
protection (see "Technical specifications"
on page EN-39).
• The plug socket must be located away
from the reverse side of the appliance, oth-
erwise the plug will be in contact with the
back plate.
• Do not use multiplugs or extension cables!
After inserting the mains plug into the socket,
a signal sounds and the display flashes
(see "Clock" on page EN-20).

Initial cleaning and heating

A slight odour may be produced during first
use. This is non-toxic and disappears after a
short moment.
1. Please clean the appliance before its
first use (see "Care and maintenance" on
page EN-33).
2. Allow the appliance to run for 10 min-
utes in grill mode (see "Grill mode" on
page EN-24).
