Microwave hazard!
The cover in the cooking chamber
serves to protect the magnetron, which
emits the microwaves.
■ Never remove the cover inside the
cooking chamber!
• Completely remove all protective films from
the housing, the inside of the door and the
cooking chamber.
Choosing the correct set-up
location
WARNING
Fire hazard!
Improper handling of the appliance
may result in damage or may cause a
fi re. Heat trapped inside the appliance
may shorten its service life.
■ Ensure suffi cient ventilation. Do not
cover the vents, for example with
oven mitts or cookery books.
■ When setting up the appliance, en-
sure that the minimum safety dis-
tances are maintained which are
specifi ed in the user manual.
■ Do not put the appliance in a cup-
board.

The appliance should be positioned near a
wall, but not directly next to a refrigerator or
deep freezer. The heat emitted from the ap-
pliance would cause unnecessarily higher
energy consumption by the fridge or freezer.
There must be a minimum spacing of 2 m
from radio devices, televisions, etc. to ensure
that the reception is not distorted.
Inserting the turntable
Use the turntable (2) every time you use the
appliance.
– It rotates during cooking, in order to ensure
that the food is evenly heated.
– It also collects dripping fat if used with the
grill rack (1).
