Indstilling af pendul

For at opnå det bedste savresultat, skal De indstille den måde savens tænder griber materialet
på. Dette gør De ved at indstille pendulet (8).
•
Bløde materialer (træ, plastik o.s.v.): sæt pendulet på niveau II eller III. For et skarpt
savsnit, sæt pendulet på niveau 0 eller I.
•
Mellemhårde materialer (løvtræ, aluminium o.s.v.): indstil pendulet afhængigt af
forholdene. Til tynde materialer brug niveau 0, eller I hvis De arbejder med knive eller
raspe.
•
Hårde materialer (stål o.s.v.): sæt pendulet på niveau 0.
•
Kurver: sæt pendulet på niveau 0.
De kan indstille pendulets niveau mens maskinen arbejder.
Støvopsamling

For at holde overfladen fri for støv, er stiksaven udstyret med en tilslutning til en støvfjerner. De
kan sætte Deres støvsuger til på denne tilslutning. Brug den adapter til støvsugeren der er
leveret med til dette.
Sikkerhedsplade
Stiksaven er udrustet med en sikkerhedsplade. Sørg for at denne plade er lukket så godt som
muligt, mens saven er i brug. Det giver den bedste beskyttelse mod splinter, og sikrer den
bedst mulige opsugning af støv.
Savning

Sæt stiksaven til.

Placer apparatets bundplade på arbejdsemnet.
•
Bevæg saven langsomt mod den allerede tegnede streg og tryk stiksaven langsomt
fremad. Tryk bundpladen fast ned mod arbejdsemnet. Gør De ikke det, vil stiksaven let
komme til at vibrere, og saven vil knække.
Lad saven gøre arbejdet. Tryk ikke for hårdt på stiksaven.
Parallelt savtyr

Hvis De vil lave et savspor parallelt med kanten af planken, kan De bruge den parallel savstyrer
der er leveret med. Dette gør De som følger:
•
Løsne umbrakoskruerne på forkanten af bundpladen.
•
Stik den parallelle savstyrer ind i åbningerne på siden af bundpladen.
•
Indstil afstanden mellem savsporet og siden af arbejdsemnet.
•
Sæt savstyreren fast ved at stramme umbrakoskruerne. Hvis f.eks. den ønskede afstand
mellem savsporet og siden er 5 cm, sæt mærket '5' på savstyreren præcist over
savklingen.
•
Stram umbrakoskruerne godt til igen.

Assembling saw blade

Before assembling the saw blade check that the mains plug has been removed
from the socket.
To assemble the saw, proceed as follows:
•
Loosen the two socket head screws (7) with the Allen key (5) supplied.
•
Place the saw (10) in the saw buckle. Make sure that the teeth point upwards and forward.
The smooth side of the saw must rest against the wheel.
•
Push the saw as far into the buckle as possible.
•
Secure the saw by tightening the two socket head screws (7) again. Make sure that the
socket head screws are tightened evenly so that the saw blade sits correctly in the saw
buckle. A crooked blade can result in an unsatisfactory cut.
•
Push the guard down.
Adjusting the bottom plate

Adjust the angle of the bottom plate (6) as follows:
A. Loosen the socket head screws with the Allen key supplied.
B. Pull the bottom plate back slightly to unlock it.
C. Turn the bottom plate to the right or left in the desired sawing angle.
You can read this on the protractor (13). The maximum sawing angle is 45º.
D. Push the bottom plate forward again to interlock it.
E. Tighten the socket head screws (12) again.
4. OPERATION

Press the switch in to put the jigsaw into operation. The switch can be interlocked with the
interlocking knob. This is done as follows:
A. Press the switch in.
B. Keep the switch pressed in and press the interlocking knob in.
The jigsaw will now continue to run.
Release the interlocking by pressing the switch in again.
Speed control

The speed of the saw blade can be controlled with the rotary knob at the top of the jigsaw. The
higher the position, the higher the speed. The highest position is 6. The ideal sawing speed will
depend on the profile and the tooth of the saw blade and on the material you want to saw. For
soft materials, select a reasonably high speed and a coarse tooth. If you want to saw hard
materials, select a lower speed and a fine tooth.
