Charging:
1. Connect the charger cable plug (25) with
the charger socket (4) on the tool.
2. Connect the power supply unit (24) to a
socket. The charging indicator (5) lights up:
Red: Equipment charging.
Green: Charging finished.
The recommended charging time is max.
3 – 5 hours.
3. After the recharging process is completed,
first unplug the charger from the wall out-
let, and then remove the charger cable
plug from the tool.

Assembling the telescopic
shaft
1. Push the equipment into the equipment
holder (19) on the telescopic handle.
2. Using the height adjustment screw (17),
adjust the height of the telescopic handle
to suit your height.

Operation

Keep to noise abatement regulations
and other by-laws.

Switching on and off

1. Remove the blade guard before switching
the unit on.
2. To switch on, hold the off-lock switch (3)
depressed and operate the on/off switch
(7). Then release the off-lock switch.
The equipment runs at top speed.
3. In order to switch off, let go of the on/off
switch (7).
To switch the equipment on/off when
using the telescopic handle, press
the off-lock switch (23) and the on/off
switch (16) on the telescopic handle
grip.

After switching the unit off, the
blades take a short time to stop
moving. Let the blades come to a
complete standstill. Do not touch
the moving blades and do not try to
stop them moving. Injury hazard!
