Functional description

The portable, hand-guided lawn trimmer
is powered by an electric motor. The trim-
mer features a dual line spool with a tap
mechanism as the cutting device.
For grass trimming there are two nylon
lines rotating parallel with ground level.
An additional chassis facilitates edge trim-
ming. A hood covering the cutting device
protects the user.
The following describes the functions of
the operating parts.

Extent of the delivery

Carefully unpack the trimmer and check
that it is complete:
• Lawn trimmer (two-parts)
• Protection cover with 2 screws
• 1 replacement line spool
• Instruction Manual

Assembling instructions

Always disconnect the plug be-
fore working on the trimmer and
wait until the cutting lines have
completely stopped. There is the
danger of electric shock and the
possibility of injury by the cutting
lines.
Fitting the Protective Cover:
1. Push the protective cover (10)
into the guide rail on the bottom
of the motor housing (9).
2. Fix the protective cover with both
screws (14).
Plugging Together the Equip-
ment:
3. Plug together the top (7) and
bottom (8) tubes. They click in
audibly.
The protective cover and handle
must point in one direction here
(see picture
Ensure that the cable does not
become caught or twisted.
Once the tubes have been plugged
together, they can no longer be
separated.
Inserting/Removing the Re-
placement Thread Reel into/
from the Holder:
4. Place the replacement thread
reel (6) in the holder (5) on the
top tube (7) and fix it by turning
clockwise
