Use

(1) slide properly into one another.
Note: If the connecting parts between the
motor unit (1) and the blending/grinding
attachment (2/5) are not fi tted correct-
ly together you will either be unable to
push the container down far enough to
trigger the switch on the motor unit, or
the connecting parts will rub together and
will wear signifi cantly.
Solution: Remove the blender/grinder
unit from the motor, turn the black rubber
wheel on the blending/grinding attach-
ment slightly and replace the unit on the
motor unit (1). The parts should now slide
easily together.
ATTENTION Danger due to improp-
er use!
Improper use of the device
may lead to damage.
– Run the product for a maximum of 30
seconds at a time. Then let it rest for at
least 1 minute. If the product switches
itself off due to the overheating stop
function, leave it to cool down for at

least 20 minutes before using again.
– Never use the product when empty!
– Do not fi ll with hot liquids!
• Pulse: Push down briefl y on the
container and then release.
Repeat this process until the re-
quired consistency is reached.
• Continuous operation:
down the container and turn it
clockwise half a centimetre until it
clicks. The unit will stay switched
on. Turn the container anti-clock-
wise to stop the blending or grind-
ing process.
To ensure the long life of the motor
unit it is advisable for both operat-
ing modes to blend or grind in short
bursts: 30 seconds per burst with a
1 minute rest between burst.
Tip: During continuous operation pick up
the unit in both hands and shake it in a
vertical position. Use one hand to hold
the motor unit (1) and the other to hold
the blending/grinding container (3/6). For
dry ingredients or thick liquids in particu-
lar this helps to ensure that the contents
always fall back onto the blades and will
produce an even fi ner result.
5. It is important that you wait until the
motor has stopped. Only then is it safe
