Shifting system
2.7.1. enviolo gear hub
With the enviolo gear hub transmission system,
you can adjust the transmission ratio infinitely via
a twist grip. Turn the twist grip away from the body
to reduce the transmission ratio, e.g. for starting
up or for uphill riding. Turn the twist grip towards
the body to increase the transmission ratio and
ride at faster speeds.
When at a standstill, only 50 to 70% of the transmission range is available on
NuVinci hubs. The remaining range is only available while riding.
2.7.2. Rohloff E-14
Shifting is done with the two buttons next to the
right handlebar grip. A single press shifts a gear.
A longer press shifts 3 gears at once. The Bosch
e-bike system recognises the shifting operation
and reduces the power assistance for a short
time, so that shifting under load is possible.
If the pedelec is stopped from a speed of more than 10 km/h, the system can
automatically shift back to a set "start gear". This can be set as follows:

Switch on the system
•
Press and hold the buttons "i" and "RESET" together
-> The "Settings" menu opens
•
Change to "start gear" using "i"
•
Set the "start gear" using "+" or "-" on the remote
•
To save the "start gear", press "RESET" for 3 seconds.
