Disconnect
The user can tap the Disconnect button to stop the connection with the built-in HF RFID reader. To
reconnect, turn off the module in the settings interface and then turn it on again.

Switch light sensor on/off

The light sensor can be switched on/off via the Hottab menu. To enable/disable the light sensor, proceed as
follows:

Start the HotTab utility

Tap the Device ON/OFF button.
4.
Check the status color of the light sensor icon
Orange: Light sensor is on.
White: Light sensor is switched off.

Use smartcard reader (Rocktab U212 only)

Depending on the configuration, the U212 series rugged tablet has an integrated smartcard reader. The
smartcard reader is located on the right side of the device.
