8 Installation
Installation position of window soffit: The con-
densate drip edge must protrude 20 to 25 mm
beyond the external plastering, once this plaster-
ing is applied.
1 Wall sleeve DN 160, not included in
scope of delivery
2 Rubber seal wall sleeve
3 Soffit element PP 45 LE
4 Stainless steel holder for drip edge and
integrated wall seal 4.1

8.6.1 Preparation for installation
1. Determine installation position. Ensure mount-
ing is on a level wall surface. Note dimen-
sions. Allow for a 7 mm perimeter plaster edge
all the way around the soffit external grille.
The reveal element should not be installed
in combination with façade thermal insulation
with a thickness of 100 mm.
WARNING Risk of injury if the soffit ele-
ment or wall sleeve comes loose.
Only mount on walls with sufficient load-bearing
capacity. Firmly plaster in soffit element and wall
sleeve.
NOTICE: Damage to unit and damage to brick-
work caused by condensate in the event of in-
correct installation where condensate runs to-
wards the interior wall if the wall sleeve and
soffit duct are at too slight an incline. Mount
wall sleeve and soffit duct with incline of 1 to 2 %
to the condensate outlet side.

8.6.2 Mounting wall sleeve

1. Fit wall sleeve according to Chapter Installa-
tion [} 28].

2. The wall sleeve must protrude 20 to 25 mm
beyond the exterior wall so that the soffit ele-
ment can be attached.
